01. The Event
Kenya has already four times the beautiful stage for a tournament of the Ladies European Tour (LET). In each year 96 professional golfers fought at Vipingo Ridge in Kilifi for the title of the Magical Kenya Ladies Open.
First held at the end of 2019, a second time in February 2022 after a Covid-enforced break and in February 2023, the tournament featured golfers from many different nationalities including a selection of home Kenyan players, at the invitation of the LET, including Vipingo Ridge’s PGA Academy star, Naomi Wafula. The tournament was held on the 18-hole Baobab Course, the continent’s sole PGA-accredited course.

02. The Service
As promoter, U.COM Event works closely with the Ladies European Tour, Vipingo Ridge and the main sponsor Magical Kenya just as the goverment to arrange a high-class ladies golf tournament in Kenya.
Our agency is responsible the entire tournament organization, the branding on- and off course, all partners and sponsors, the hospitality, communications as well as ticket sales.
Our partner unit U.COM Media is doing the TV-production of all Ladies European Tour tournaments and two-time champion Esther Henseleit is managed by the third U.COM unit U.COM Player. We therefore provide a full service package and make use of the synergies of all units.
